Women of Power Mentor Award Winner: Amy Nadell

October 28, 2020

“My goal is to add kindness to the world each day, and make a difference by adding value to others,” says Executive Director Amy Nadell. By all accounts, she has met and exceeded those goals. A gracious leader, a stalwart friend and a guiding light to her team, Amy has spent the better part of the last decade building something special that has impacted the lives of so many.

From hosting weekly Zoom calls to bringing her community together to give back, Amy is constantly working toward the betterment of the world around her. For these and so many other reasons, we were recently honored to recognize Amy as the 2019 Women of Power Mentor award winner.

“This award is for all that you’ve done for the women in our organization,” says Founder Rob Snyder, “in terms of helping them find their place, find their direction and find their motivation.”

Out of all of her accomplishments and all those hours of support and dedication to Kynect’s cause, one thing in particular stands out. Amy is a champion of women—women in business, mothers, wives, students, those just getting started and those who’ve been around for a long while. Whether or not they’re part of her team, Amy is always quick to empower, inspire and help women understand they’re worthy of every dream they have.

Amy started her Kynect business to help support her father when he fell ill. She says all the qualities that have gotten her to this point came from him. He taught her about giving back, about putting others first. She has never forgotten his lessons.

“Amy has such a servant’s heart. She gives of herself to everybody,” says Executive Director Brian Dilsheimer. “If there were more than 24 hours in a day to give, Amy would give them to others. So to see her recognized for just being who she is, is really fantastic.”

As far as Amy’s concerned, the journey so far has been a group effort that is endlessly rewarding and enriching in ways she never imagined.

“I am nothing without my team. They are everything. I get to do this with my best friends, and people who have become my best friends,” Amy says. “I’m so fortunate. I feel so humbled to stand before all the other Women of Power because they inspire me so much.”
