We’ve got good news to share from our energy partner! Stream customers in Georgia taking advantage of the EZ Start program will now get their early termination fee (ETF) reimbursed via bill credit – which means no more having to wait for a Visa gift card to arrive. With EZ Start, you can help potential customers break free from their energy contract with other providers by offering ETF reimbursement of up to $150 when they switch to Stream.
EZ Start Changes in Georgia
Here’s how it works: Once a new customer enrolls in a plan that’s longer than 12 months, they’ll need to email a copy of their final bill from their previous provider to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your customer will need to include their:
- Final bill, including all pages that clearly shows their full name, utility account number, service address and the billing cycle dates
- Total ETF amount charged
- Phone number
- Stream account number
Georgia customers have 90 days from their switch request to claim their reimbursement. Once their submission has been approved, the credit will be applied to their next bill.
Don’t forget! The EZ Start program is available to residential customers in all markets. If you need a refresher on how the program works, visit mystream.com/ezstart.
With up to $150 in bill credit reimbursement to cover ETFs, EZ Start helps make switching to Stream simple and easy. Get your new energy customers off to an EZ Start today!
