Is your path forward looking a little hazy these days? Here’s some simple advice to help you find your way: Look for someone who has what you want, and follow in their footsteps. What did they do every day to move the needle? What mindset do they maintain? Some of the most successful leaders in Kynect were kind enough to share their tips and daily habits for success. Take these and leverage them into your own recipe for results!


1. “Show the Plan

What better way to start than with our #1 Income Earner and National Director Presley Swagerty? According to him, Kynect is less about ability and more about action. These are the 3 actions he swears by:

  • Make a daily to-do list each night for the next day. Include calls, meetings and events.
  • Create a team culture that focuses on attending events together.
  • Show. The. Plan! Every single day.

2. Stay the Course

Do something every day for your business, and jot down what you did at the end of the day. Executive Directors Diana & Ed Alcocer say this visual of what you actually accomplished speaks for itself. If there’s still a lot of work to be done, don’t get paralyzed. “Take it step-by-step. You will be glad you stayed the course!” Diana says.



3. It’s All About the Team

Take it from Team of Action leader, Presidential Director Winchel Elibert: A culture of togetherness can get you through anything. “We support each other, not just in Kynect, but also in life situations.” he says. Work hard, play hard together and recognize your people for their accomplishments.



4. Small Daily Victories

Your big picture comes into focus when you practice consistency. For Executive Director Jason Bias, that means following up and continuously adding to his prospect list. Over time, simple activity adds up. If you’re not sure what your daily activity should be, Jason has this advice: “Be 100% coachable. Find a mentor and learn from them.”


5. Go Pro

This is a business—treat it like one! Presidential Directors Veronica & Gabriel Morales were entrepreneurs long before Kynect, so they knew it was necessary to become industry experts. “Taking full responsibility and learning as much as we can. That’s the key,” says Gabriel. Then, share that knowledge with your team. Gabriel keeps his team on track with daily updates, reminders and words of encouragement.



6. Use Your Tools

Former-coach-turned-Presidential Director Willa Gipson keeps it simple: “Stay in the game,” she says. To do that, she has a strict weekly routine. And she uses the heck out of her reporting tools in Kynect Central. “It is vitally important my team knows I know what they need for their next rank advancement or bonus,” she says. “Each week, I look at the bonus report and rank advancement report to see how I can encourage them.”
