All-City Spotlight: ED Angie Kriner-Doorfee

February 03, 2020

When ED Angie Kriner-Doorfee first started the business nine years ago, she was a single mom looking for an extra $500 to pay off cancer bills, and to put her kids through college. After achieving personal goals, growing her business, and connecting with more people, she found a new why: her team.

Executive Director Angie Kriner-Doorfee

All-City Appearance: Rochester, NY on February 4

See the Full Lineup

Her Why: Helping her team achieve their goals.

“I truly feel like some of my closest friends are the people on my team, and I know their struggles and their drives. I want it for them, and that is what is pushing me to do more for my business.”

Their Training Style: Fun and engaging.

“I’m not telling them that they are going to quit their jobs in the next month. Instead, I’m telling them how to earn some bonuses, and how to earn a free energy check. Free energy is huge for my team because once someone can reach that free energy, their business can start growing naturally. We like to sit with people and make their list of names, do their first initial phone calls with them, and find out from them what they need for their family. We are a pretty close-knit group, so when people join, they feel comfortable knowing they are not going to be thrown out to the wolves. We have a culture where we train people, and then we teach them to do the same thing with their people.”

Why should you go to an All-City?

Angie believes that no one is done growing in this business. Learning what works for other leaders can help people implement that into their business, and then share those tidbits with their team.

“You are constantly learning and growing from other people’s successes. I learn so much by hearing from people like Susan Fisher and Jerry Scribner and seeing what’s working for them. Say there is a situation that I’ve always struggled with, maybe learning a nugget from them on how they do it will help me and then I can pass that onto my team. It’s not just about my business – it’s about helping my team better their business.”
