Great news from Stream: Effective yesterday, energy customers enrolling or renewing online for service in New York and Illinois are no longer required to complete a third-party verification (TPV) call! This change also applies to telephonic renewals in Illinois.
If your customer chooses to enroll by phone in these states, the TPV call still applies.
Just to refresh your memory: TPV calls were a regulatory requirement that added an additional step to the online enrollment and renewal processes by requiring customers to confirm their enrollment with a third party.
