Upcoming Rate Updates in the Northeast & Midwest

June 10, 2020

Associates building their business in the Northeast and Midwest, listen up! Rate updates are coming to the Northeast & Midwest energy markets on Friday, June 12. If you are selling Stream energy services in these areas, be prepared to share these updates with your customers.

Pennsylvania

Big news, PA! Stream is decreasing the rate on their 12-month electricity offer in West Penn Power, giving you six areas that will have electricity offers lower than their incumbent's price to compare:

·      West Penn Power

·      Duquesne

·      MetEd

·      Penelec

·      PPL

·      PECO

Maryland

In Maryland, Stream is decreasing the rate on their 6-month electricity offers in BGE, PEPCO and Potomac Edison. The 6-month electricity offer in Delmarva will see an increase, but all 6-month offers will remain lower than the price to compare.

New Jersey

Electricity offers in New Jersey will also see a few updates. Due to price to compare updates, Jersey Central Power & Light will see a rate decrease on their 6-month electricity offer, while ACE and PSEG will see a rate increase on their 6-month electricity offers. The 18-month electricity offer in PSEG will see a rate increase as well, but all offers in these areas remain competitive.

The 6-month gas offers in New Jersey Natural Gas and PSEG will see an increase but will remain competitive as well.

Delaware

Delamarva lowered the price to compare, so Stream is lowering the rate on their 6-month electricity offer to remain competitive.

New York

The rate on Stream Green 50 for electricity customers is updating to follow the incumbent in all utilities except NatGrid.

Ohio

Great news, Ohio. Stream is decreasing the rate on their 6-month electricity offers in Dayton Power & Light and AEP Ohio, which means Ohio will also have six markets with electricity offers lower than their incumbent's price to compare:

·      Dayton Power & Light

·      AEP Ohio

·      Toledo Edison

·      Ohio Edison

·      Duke Energy

·      CEI – The Illuminating Company

Illinois

Stream is replacing its 12-month electricity offer with a 6-month offer at a rate lower than ComEd’s price to compare.

These rate updates are the just what you need to make a splash this summer, so make sure everyone on your team is in the know and prepared to share these updates with customers! As always, the latest rates and plan details can be found on the Rates page and MyStream.com.
