Stream’s Enhancing Your Texas Customers’ Experience

In February, Stream will roll out several updates all aimed at enhancing your customer’s experience in Texas!

A New Texas-only Phone Number

Don’t tell customers to start calling this just yet! They can use it when all these changes go live in early February—we’ll let you know. For now, they should continue calling 866-447-8732.

And just to be clear, Georgia and Northeast customers will continue to use the existing number. The new one is for Texas only.

Improved Automated Phone Menu

Stream has made continuous improvements to the automated phone system, and this new update will simplify it even more. Click the image for a closer look.


Energy Bill Makeover + New Account Number

Texas energy bills are getting a fresh new look to make it easier for customers to spot and understand their charges. Plus, you’ll have an easier time comparing a prospect’s bill to this one.


When customers receive their first newly-designed bill, it’ll include this handy guide and their new account number. The guide will also be available online before the new bills go out. 

Customers need to use their new account number when they make payments by mail or at any pay station. Also encourage them to use when they call Customer Support (practice makes perfect!), but it’s OK if they don’t. Stream can still reference the old number to access their account.

Service Status Communications

Customers will receive more emails throughout the enrollment process and to help with overall account management. Click the image for a closer look.

  • Alerts for additional steps needed to complete enrollment
  • Notification their service has started
  • Account actions needed
  • More payment reminders
  • More recent data in the Weekly Energy Report


Joint Billing

Simplified joint billing for your customers with multiple premises! They’re going to receive one bill outlining their charges and usage at each site. Much easier.

No Convenience Fees

Fees for paying with ACH or a credit card, online or via phone are a thing of the past beginning 2/10.
