Texas Energy Renewal Window Extended

April 16, 2020

You know the drill: A Texas summer typically means triple digit temps and higher electricity usage as a result. Factor in the possibility of more people staying at home to social distance, and we’re talking even higher usage and, of course, higher bills.

Stream is ready to help. Effective April 17, our energy partner is extending the renewal window from 90 to 150 days to protect your customers and your MEI. This applies to any Texas customer, residential or business, whose term expires between April 17 through the end of August!

This will give more customers the chance to renew on a competitive, long-term plan like Smart & Secure 60 before summer hits and rates potentially start to climb.

Head to Kynect Central and pull up your Personal Customer Report to see whose contracts expire between April 17 and August. Then…

  • Have your residential customers renew online here. They’ll need their Stream account number and the last 4 digits of their social security number.
  • Have your Stream for Business customers call 888-685-7693 to renew.

Big thanks to Stream for making sure your customers are happy campers and your MEI is secure as things heat up!
