New Low Rates in the Northeast on February 18

February 18, 2020

Associates building their business in the Northeast, listen up! Some exciting rate updates are coming to the Northeast energy markets on Tuesday, February 18. If you are selling Stream energy services in these areas, be prepared to share these updates with your customers.

Pennsylvania Electric

Big news, PA! Stream is getting ahead of the incumbent changes in Pennsylvania to give you a competitive offer for your new and renewing customers: a lower rate than both current and future incumbent pricing.

Stream is decreasing rates and replacing its 8-month products with a 6-month product in five markets:

  • Met-Ed
  • PECO
  • Penelec
  • Penn Power
  • West Penn Power

Rates will decrease on 12-month products, giving you a low, low rate to offer your customers in the following markets:

  • Met-Ed
  • Penelec
  • Penn Power
  • PPL Electric
  • West Penn Power

In the Duquesne Light and PPL Electric markets, Stream is replacing its 8-month products with a 6-month product that will have the same rate.

Rates will increase on all 24-month products in all Pennsylvania markets.

New Jersey Electric

Stream’s low rate on its 6-month product will drop even lower in the PSE&G market to 11.48 cents per kWh.

New York Cashback

The New York rates on the Cashback program change every month to match the local utilities’ price. The rate on the Cashback program for electricity customers is lower than last month’s rate in eight markets.

The Northeast rate updates are the perfect fuel to ignite your business all the way to Kynection, so make sure everyone on your team is in the know and prepared to share these updates with customers! As always, the latest rates and plan details can be found on the Rates page and MyStream.com.
