Faith Ware says she functions on 2 speeds: Go, and get it done. A cursory glance confirms it. Mother to 3 grown sons, doting grandmother of 3. A natural leader with a fiercely competitive spirit. She’s licensed in ballet, jazz, tap and modern dance. Before joining Kynect in January 2018, she had started her own company focused on B2B sales.
And now, just shy of 2 years in the business, Faith is our newest Executive Director.
Dancing Toward a Better Way
The thing about starting your own company is that you’re usually required to wear multiple hats to keep things running smoothly. That was true in Faith’s case. She was the sales rep, the HR person, marketing guru, you name it. The work was endless, but the pay wasn’t. If she stopped hustling, the income stopped, too.
Truthfully? “I was badly in need of some vacation time!” she said. Long term, she needed a way to build wealth that could last even after she was gone. Those kinds of opportunities don’t come easy. She says it’s very rare for her to start something unless she’s able to see a clear path to victory.
What did it take to convince this veteran entrepreneur that Kynect was the answer?
The Right Place, the Right Time
A presentation by The Closer himself, of course. When Faith’s world happily collided with ED Martin Augustine, he showed her the plan. The rest, she said, is history. She joined right away as a member of Team of Action (TOA).
“To me, Kynect means ‘together.’ It means a partnership,” she said. “It means a family of like-minded believers in a goal, vision and outcome, who understand why they are connected.”
She’s right at home in TOA with that outlook. On her way to ED, Faith was surrounded by a team who continuously lifted her up and guided her efforts. She credits leaders like PD Bernadette Wright and ED Shane Callwood with keeping her confidence level through the roof. One of her fondest memories is of ND Mark Florez dropping everything to fly to Atlanta to train her team at her home.
One of the hallmarks of our business is that you don’t need to be a salesperson to find success—but a little experience in the field never hurts. Faith’s background in sales has given her a passion for the pitch. She has a knack for helping others recognize value in something. That “aha” moment, as she puts it. And she knows that moment has big implications at Kynect.
“I strongly believe in people having a choice as it pertains to their financial wealth and their family life,” she said. “To be able to work how it best suits them, without losing the things they worked to acquire.”
That belief has carried Faith to this point, and will no doubt carry her further. “When I am able to help others in Kynect achieve success and their goals, I am over the moon,” she said. “I feel excitement, joy and a sense of pride that I was able to be a small instrument that was used to help them reach a particular point. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.”
